About the Class

This style was characterized by its use of the body, with dancers making use of its flexibility and range of motion to create interesting and creative movement. It was a style based on the idea of letting go and trusting the music and the body.

The movement was often fast and energetic, with dancers using a variety of styles and techniques to create their own unique and individualistic style. Modern jazz was a style that was embraced by many dancers, as it was a way for them to express themselves and explore their artistic limits.
