Art & Dance Showcase 2026 – What You Need to Know


We are so excited to welcome you to our Art & Dance Showcase on June 6, 2026, a special day where our dancers shine, celebrate their growth, and share all their hard work on stage 💜


In this announcement, you’ll find everything you need to feel prepared and confident for showcase day. From arrival times, check-in details, and show blocks, to important guidelines, what to bring, dress code, and pick-up procedures — it’s all here to help make your experience smooth, organized, and enjoyable.

Show Blocks Schedule:


Please Note: This is NOT the order of the show! You will see the order in the program on show day! 

  • Opening of House:

    • We open doors to the audience 10-15 minutes before showtime.

    • Check in your dancer then wait in line to be let in. First come first serve!

    • Please do not reserve seats :) 

  • Check Out Procedures:

    • We will check out your dancer on stage by class

    • Please DO NOT crowd the stage until your dancer’s class is called 

    • Please DO NOT pull your child off stage. Wait for them on the side near the staircase.

    • Be prepared to show your wristband provided at check in

FAQ section

Is participation in the Showcase mandatory?

No, but we highly encourage all students to participate! It’s a wonderful way to celebrate their progress and gain performance experience.

What is included in the $70 participation fee?

The fee covers participation, venue rental and other related show day expenses.

How do I opt out if my child cannot participate?

You must inform the studio before April 1st to avoid being charged the participation fee. Please send an email with the student’s name, class and reason for missing the showcase. We also ask that you let the teacher know so choreography can be adjusted accordingly.

What should my child wear?

They will wear their regular class attire. If their class does not have a uniform, their instructor will select a coordinated outfit. Refer to your teacher for more information.

Do I need to purchase tickets?

No, entrance is free and seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. 

Can I take photos and videos?

Yes, but no flash photography is allowed. 

Will there be a dress rehearsal?

Not unless your child’s instructor specifically requests one. Instead, we will do a Final Rehearsal during class time on the week leading up to Showcase May 30 - June 5. Please do not miss class during this week! 

What happens if I have more than one child performing in different blocks?

We recommend arriving early and staying through both blocks they participate in so you can see all performances. 

What can I bring?

  • Small snacks and sandwiches are allowed backstage.

  • Each dancer may bring ONE bag with their essentials.

  • No extra items outside of the bag—our lost and found fills up quickly!

  • Water bottles are permitted.

  • No electronics, jewelry, or gum backstage.

  • All items, including bags and dance shoes, must be labeled with the student’s name.

When can I take my child home after they perform?

  • Children will be dismissed after the awards ceremony at the end of their last block. To ensure safety and organization:

  • After the ceremony, children will gather their belongings backstage and exit through the stage stairs in a lined-up order per class.

  • Please wait for your child’s turn and make sure their teacher personally hands them to you.

  • Do not pull your child off the stage—we must account for all students before dismissal.

  • If your child is performing in more than one Block, they must stay until the end of their last block. Please remain seated and once everyone has left, we will bring your dancer to you to see them between blocks. 

What time should we arrive?

  • Block 1:

    • Dancers check in at 9:15 AM (right-side door of the building)

    • The show starts at 10:00 AM.

  • Block 2:

    • Dancers check in at 11:15 AM (right-side door of the building).

    • The show starts at 12:00 PM.

  • Block 3:

    • Dancers check in at 1:15 PM (right-side door of the building).

    • The show starts at 2:00 PM

  • Block 4:

    • Dancers check in at 3:30 PM (right-side door of the building).

    • The show starts at 4:15 PM
