    We recommend wearing comfortable clothing that allows for ease of movement, such as leggings or dance attire depending on the classes you will be enrolled in.     Yes! We believe that performance experiences are an essential part of a dancer's journey. Throughout the year, we organize recitals, charity performances, and showcase events where students can demonstrate their progress and talents as well as contribute to a more culturally educated community. Participation in these events is optional for noncompany members but highly encouraged.
  • Can parents observe the classes?
    Yes! We believe that family support and participation are essential to a dancer’s formation. For the comfort and focus of our students, we have designated observation windows in our studio. Parents and guardians can observe their child's class through these windows. However, to minimize distractions, we kindly request that parents limit their interaction during class time.
  • What safety measures are in place at Art & Dance Studio?
    The safety and well-being of our students is our top priority. We maintain a clean and sanitized studio environment. Our studio floors are specially designed to care for our dancer’s joints and the mirrors have a Safety back that keeps the mirror stuck to the wall even when broken. Additionally, we have implemented safety rules during class time and for drop off/pick up that are enforced by the staff and instructors. We ask our families to actively remind their dancers of these rules so we keep our community safe.
  • How does Art & Dance Studio communicate with parents?
    Here at Art & Dance Studio, we are BIG on communication. It is our promise to respond to all inquiries within 24 hours and we will never leave a query unanswered. Our friendly office staff can be contacted on 210935 2597 Monday-Friday between 9 am and 8 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 1 pm. For convenience, our primary means of communication is via email and WhatsApp you can download the Movil app here. You will receive regular newsletters and important information via email, so please ensure you have provided the studio with an up-to-date email address and phone number that is regularly checked. You will also have access to your parent portal where you can manage your account, and your students, make payments, download statements, check in for classes and Our website is also a great way to stay in the loop of things since it is all posted there first. You can start a chat, log into your portal, click on our newsletter tab, etc. Facebook is an excellent way for us to keep in touch with all of our parents at once so we will add you to our Studio closed Facebook group. We always display important information, dates, and studio details on our noticeboard in reception so please have a quick look when you arrive at the studio in case there is anything you may have missed.
  • What is Summerland 2024?
    Our dance studio will be offering a unique opportunity for children ages 4 to 7 to explore the world of dance, getting immersed in each week's stories and their characters, learning an important life lesson and having lots of fun in the process! At our Summer Land 2024, your children will learn themed choreography, eco-friendly activities, follow a storyline with a moral lesson throughout the week, Minute-To-Win-It games, Themed Arts and crafts, Have dress up Wednesdays (Optional), Prizes, Friday Fun Bounce House Parties and Endless fun every week. Along the way, they'll also train their Musicality rhythm, and physical coordination while discovering the importance of teamwork.

    No, you do not need to be a member to register in our dance camps Our preferred method of registration is online through our website, you can fill out a pre-registration form here .   • How Do I reserve the weeks that I want?
    Each week at SummerLand 2024 is a standalone camp, allowing you the flexibility to enroll in as many weeks as you desire, provided there are available spots. If you have vacation plans and wish to skip certain weeks, you have the option to do so, as long as you secure your spot for the weeks you intend to attend. To secure your spot, you can choose to pay for one or more weeks at a time, with a convenient 20% downpayment required to reserve your place. Your full payment for the upcoming week is expected at least 24 hours before the camp starts, and please ensure you register at least 3 days in advance to avoid the risk of your preferred camp reaching full capacity. Our camps will run from June 3rd to August 2nd, but you can secure your enrollment or reserve your spot as early as February 10th. To reserve your spot, simply fill out the pre-enrollment form on our website at or give us a call!     Each of our summer camps at SummerLand 2024 offers a captivating tale filled with unique characters and valuable moral lessons. While each week's storyline is distinct, our camps follow a familiar blueprint to ensure a memorable and enriching experience for all participants. To kick off the week, Mondays begin with story time, where our dedicated teachers introduce the week's objectives and captivating characters. Throughout the week, participants engage in themed choreography sessions, drama activities, cheer and tumbling classes, as well as stretching or conditioning exercises. One of the highlights of our camps is Dress-Up Day, where children have the opportunity to embody their favorite characters from the week's story or create their own and participate in themed activities. Additionally, our eco-friendly adventures, Minute to Win It games, and exciting prizes and rewards add to the excitement and fun. Finally, we cap off each week with our highly anticipated Friday Fun Bounce Party, where participants come together to celebrate their achievements and create lasting memories.   • What are your hours of operation and do you have extended time options?
    Our Summer activities will run from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm every day. To ensure a smooth start, we recommend arriving 10 to 25 minutes before camp begins, especially on your first day, so we can warmly welcome you and provide your Welcome Pack! Extended Hours Option: For added flexibility, we offer early drop-off and late pick-up options for an additional fee. Below are the rates: - Early Drop-off at 7:45 am (1 day): $15.00 - Early Drop-off at 7:45 am (Full week): $65.00 - Late Pick-up at 2:00 pm (1 day): $25.00 - Late Pick-up at 2:00 pm (Full week): $40.00 -After 2:00 pm $5 fee will be added every 15 minutes to cover the extra time of the teacher. -3:00 pm is the time limit for pick up. -Dropping off your dancer before 8:45 am can be constituted as an early drop off and fees may apply.   • Can I call or visit to check on my child?
    Yes, you're more than welcome to call at any time to check on your child's well-being. If you'd like to visit in person, you're encouraged to do so! Our inviting lobby provides comfortable seating where you can observe classes through the inside windows. However, please bear in mind that certain activities, such as crafts and lunch breaks, will also take place in this area. As a result, it may become crowded, especially during these times. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all participants."
  • How old does my child have to be to attend summer camp?
    Our Summerland 2024 camp is designed for children between the ages of 4 and 7. If your child is nearing this age range but not quite there yet, we encourage you to reach out to us. Our team is here to assist you in determining whether our camp is the best fit for your child's needs and interests. Please don't hesitate to give us a call, and we'll be happy to provide guidance and assistance in ensuring a wonderful summer camp experience for your little one!
  • Are snacks/ lunch included?
    Snacks/lunch are not included in the camp's price. However, all students will have a supervised break during the day to enjoy their meals. While we do provide a mini fridge and a microwave for teachers to assist with warming up food if necessary, we recommend keeping lunch boxes simple for ease of preparation. Additionally, we offer affordable snacks for purchase at the studio, which can be added to your account directly with your prior authorization. If you'd like your dancer to have the option to purchase snacks at the studio, please inform us at the time of registration. For those booking extended time, we suggest bringing extra snacks/lunch just in case. Your child's satisfaction and well-being are our top priorities, and we strive to ensure they have a fulfilling and enjoyable experience during their time at camp.
  • Is it age divided?
    At SummerLand 2024, we welcome children ages 4 to 7 to embark on an unforgettable journey of dance and discovery.     While we typically offer a 5% sibling discount during our regular seasons, we do not extend this discount during the summer program.   • How many teachers will be working during summer camp?
    We will have 4 staff members during the kids camp looking over all the children and teaching their classes, more teachers will be helping on Friday with the themed Party activities
  • What is your camper to staff ratio and are kids grouped by ages?
    Yes, we group dancers in age appropriate groups. For children ages 4 to 7, we maintain a low student-to-teacher ratio of 15 to 1 to ensure personalized attention and a safe learning environment. We will have three dedicated Staff members on-site at all times to facilitate engaging activities and provide support. To optimize the learning experience and accommodate varying group sizes, we may occasionally divide the children into two smaller groups for certain activities. This allows us to tailor the instruction to the needs and interests of each group, fostering greater participation and enjoyment. Rest assured, our priority is to provide a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child can thrive and express themselves through dance!
  • Can your staff give medication to my child?
    Yes, all prescription medications and inhalers except for epipens, or any other type of shot/injection. All medications must be in the original container labeled with the camper’s name, the date, directions, and the physician’s name. A written, signed statement from you must accompany all medication with the dosage, time, and date for the administration of the Medication. Staff are not allowed to administer over-the-counter medications Unless it is prescribed by a physician. A letter from the physician must be provided as well as the child's name, and the dosage. The medication will only be administered according to the directions on the label. Siblings will not be allowed to share medication.
  • What does my child need to bring to camp?
    Bring comfortable clothes that are stretchy and allow you to move plus Ballet shoes, jazz and tap shoes if you have them. Make sure to bring clean tennis shoes to class in your bag, they should be different to your street shoes. All Shoes must be labeld with student name A Yoga Mat with your name A water bottle with your name Your back pack with your name Your snack/lunch Leave your jewelry and smart watches at home Nap mat. If you dancer still naps during the morning period All belongings should be labeld with you dancer’s name; the studio will not be held responsible for lost or stolen items brought from home.
  • Refunds and Cancelations
    The fee to book a spot in our camps in non refundable and non transferable If you wish to withdraw from the camp and get a refund, you must notify the studio 24 hrs before the camp begins, no refunds will be issued after that under no circumstances. A card on file will be required upon registration and all additional charges (Snaks, gear, etc )will run in Auto-pay mode. The booking fee will hold your spot for up to 24 hrs before the camp begins, that is when the remaining fee should be paid. Students may not access our camp if the camp has not been paid in full. Art & Dance Studio reserves the right to cancel a class or camp for lack of quorum a minimum of five (5) students is necessary to open or maintain a class or camp. If such cancellation was to occur, Art & Dance Studio will refund the camp’s total amount paid except the processing fees. The parent of any student under the age 15 who registers must fill out a registration form on site on their 1st day of camp that includes the names and ID copies of the parents/guardians authorized to pick them up. Cash, check or credit/debit card payments are accepted at the studio. Payments can also be made online via our website’s parent portal at by credit or debit card A fee (NSF) of $25 USD will be charged for any bounced check If you owe any amount after dropping out of camp, the card on file will be automatically charged (whether it is on auto-pay or not). All payments made prior to notification of withdrawal are non-refundable and non-transferable All refunds made will have a processing fee deduction ART & DANCE STUDIO IS NOT OBLIGATED TO NOTIFY FAMILIES OF ANY INCREASES IN OUR RATES.
  • What is your check out policy when picking up my child?
    We only release children to the individuals listed on the enrollment form completed by the parent or guardian. Anyone authorized to pick up the child must present a photo ID Once the staff are familiar with those authorized to pick up your child, a photo ID may not be required.
  • Can I pick up or drop off my child anytime during the day?
    Yes, You can drop off your child as early as 7:45 am (early drop off rates will apply). However, we ask that all dancers be there by 9:00 am due to programming and scheduling. If your child arrives late, they will miss out on activities and possibly be asked to sit through the 1st class upon arrival if the warm-up has already started to avoid risk of injury. You can pick your dancer up early if you want to, we only ask that you let us know in advance so we can have your dancer ready and all their belongings gathered. Your dancer can also be picked up late which would be considered extended time and rates will apply. Please refer to the Hours of operation and extended time section in the FAQ to learn more.
  • Do you have themes for each week?

  • If my child has behavioral differences or special needs can they still attend your camp?
    Yes, we ask that parents contact the program director to discuss the needs of their child. Our goal is to make sure our program is a good fit for your child
  • How do you select your staff?
    We look for staff with experience, enthusiasm, high energy, creativity, and patience. All of our teachers and staff have worked with us before in our regular classes and programs. Since we also have a teaching program for our more advanced students, we will have some of them join the summer program as assistant teachers.
  • Do you offer scholarships for the summer?
    No, however, We havea 5% discount available for military families and other bundles available on our website.
  • Can I reserve the weeks that I need?
    Yes, there is a $48 deposit per week per child for the weeks you are wanting to book. All deposits are due at the time of registration. The deposit will hold your spot and your account will be electronically Created within the next day after registration. Please note that all booking deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Can I register for just a few days and not the entire week?
    Yes, we call this a “drop in 1 day camp”, but we only accept drop ins if space is available. The drop in fee is $45 per day paid at the studio on the day of the drop in. Drop in’s can not be reserved more than 3 business days in advance. To register for a drop-in 1 day camp call 210 935 2597 to check availability. Drop in care is not available on line. You must get authorization prior to registration. Drop in care is non-refundable and non-transferable due to the inability to provide a two week advance notice of cancellation.
